The retreat will take place in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains in a picturesque gorge on the 28 acre premises of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Seva Ashram, a sacred place dedicated to the practice of bhakti-yoga.
The ashram was founded by Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and is the spiritual home of a large devotional community.
We are offering a limited number of dorm rooms and camping space on the ashram grounds for all retreat guests to pitch tents or park recreational vehicles. Our facilities are rustic but we hope to make everyone feel at home, and we can provide camping equipment for anyone who requires it.
During your stay, we will provide you with a full meal plan of prasadam (sanctified food). If you have any special dietary needs, let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
The retreat is free as an offering from our hearts to any who would like to participate.
We simply ask that at the end of the retreat you make a contribution to help cover the expenses if indeed you are able and inclined to do so.
An initial deposit of $20 is requested, however, from each participant at the time of registering to confirm everyone’s participation.
For more information on all aspects of the retreat, please read the Retreat Guidelines.
